CASTAWAY Course respects your privacy and follows Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- When you register: your name, email, phone, job title, organization and any notes you give us.
- When you request a course: your name, contact details, organization and course preferences.
- Payments: the amount, date and reference of your payment. We never see or store your banking or card details. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
- Feedback: if you rate a course, your rating and comments. We only publish a comment if you tick the box allowing it.
We never ask for or collect patient information.
How we use it
Only to run your course: confirming your seat, matching your payment, sending receipts, reminders and certificates, and replying to you. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't send marketing emails.
Where it's stored
This website runs on Cloudflare, and emails are sent through a transactional email provider. These service providers may store data in Canada or the United States and are bound by contract to protect it. We keep payment and receipt records for 7 years, as required for tax purposes. Other information is deleted when it's no longer needed.
Cookies
We use no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. One first-party cookie remembers how you found us (for example, a QR code on a poster) for 60 days, so we know which advertising works. Admin sign-in uses a separate, essential cookie.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing castawaycourse@gmail.com.
